DMCA & Copyright Takedown Policy

MangaFlow (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of creators, authors, artists, and publishers, and expects all users of our Service to do the same. In compliance with Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c) and 512(d) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), MangaFlow has implemented the following notice and takedown procedure.
1. DMCA Safe Harbor & Information Location Provider Status
MangaFlow operates as an online service provider facilitating information location tools. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) and § 512(d), service providers that reference or link users to online locations containing infringing material or infringing activity are protected under statutory Safe Harbor provisions, provided they comply with the statutory notice and takedown procedures.
2. DMCA Designated Agent Contact Information
If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, and you believe that any link, index item, or user-submitted URL on MangaFlow infringes upon your exclusive copyright, you may submit a formal notification to our Designated Agent:

3. Requirements for Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notification must include substantially all of the following information:
- Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of Copyrighted Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of Infringed Location (URL): Identification of the material or link claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including the specific URL on mangaflow.io or reference location.
- Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit MangaFlow to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
- Statement of Good Faith Belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure (17 U.S.C. § 512(g))
If you believe that a bookmark or link you saved was mistakenly removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice, you may file a Counter-Notification with our DMCA Agent pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2) and (3).
Your Counter-Notification must be a written communication sent to dmca@mangaflow.io containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the bookmark or URL that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Costa Rica for international residents), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notice, MangaFlow will forward a copy to the original complaining party. If the copyright owner does not file an action seeking a court order within 10 to 14 business days, MangaFlow may restore the disabled bookmark or link.
5. Repeat Offender Termination Policy
In accordance with Section 512(i)(1)(A) of the DMCA, MangaFlow maintains a strict policy to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. MangaFlow reserves the right to terminate any user account upon receiving multiple valid infringement notices regarding content or links associated with that account.
6. Liability for Misrepresentation (17 U.S.C. § 512(f))
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including legal fees and court costs incurred by MangaFlow or the alleged infringer.
