Welcome to MangaFlow. By accessing or using our website at https://mangaflow.io (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Service Description

MangaFlow is a web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) application that provides users with tools to organize and track their manga reading progress. The Service allows users to:

  • Save and organize manga chapter URLs from third-party websites into a personal library dashboard
  • Manually track reading progress (chapter counts)
  • Receive automated new-chapter availability notifications (Premium feature)
  • Access automatically enriched metadata such as cover images and chapter counts sourced from public APIs (Premium feature)

FTC Compliance Notice regarding Artificial Intelligence: MangaFlow operates using a proprietary, rule-based URL checking engine and public API metadata aggregators. The Service does NOT utilize artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or automated natural language processing models to scrape, generate, evaluate, or monitor content. All tracking operations are strictly mathematical and deterministic.

Important: MangaFlow does NOT host, store, distribute, reproduce, or cache any manga content, images, or text. MangaFlow is strictly a bookmarking and URL-monitoring tool. All manga content remains on the original third-party provider websites. Users are always redirected to the original source to read.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify MangaFlow immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You may not create multiple accounts for the same individual. MangaFlow reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

MangaFlow offers two service tiers:

4.1 Free Tier (“Hobbyist Reader”)

  • Up to 25 manga series in your library
  • Manual chapter tracking
  • Ad-free dashboard experience

4.2 Premium Tier (“Omniscient”)

  • Up to 1,000 manga series in your library
  • Automated new-chapter detection via our proprietary detection engine
  • Automatic metadata and cover image enrichment
  • New chapter alert notifications
  • Bulk import functionality
  • Manga provider health monitoring dashboard

MangaFlow reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features from either tier at any time.

5. Billing and Subscriptions

5.1 Merchant of Record

All payments for the Premium tier are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC f/k/a Lemon Squeezy LLC), which acts as the Merchant of Record. By subscribing to a Premium plan, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy’s Terms of Service.

5.2 Pricing

Premium subscriptions are offered at the following rates (subject to change with notice):

  • Monthly Plan: $3.99 USD per month, billed monthly
  • Yearly Plan: $29.99 USD per year, billed as a single annual payment

5.3 Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

5.4 Refund Policy

MangaFlow offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for Premium subscriptions, subject to the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the initial subscription purchase or the most recent renewal payment
  • Refunds are limited to one (1) per customer across the lifetime of their account
  • Upon issuance of a refund, Premium access is immediately revoked and the account is downgraded to the Free tier
  • MangaFlow reserves the right to deny refund requests that show patterns of abuse, fraud, or manipulation
  • Refund requests can be submitted by contacting support@mangaflow.io

5.5 Price Changes

MangaFlow reserves the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified via email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service (other than through provided features)
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems
  • Share, resell, or redistribute your account access to third parties
  • Use the Service to track, distribute, or promote illegal or pirated content
  • Circumvent any access restrictions, rate limits, or feature limitations

7. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of any data you submit to MangaFlow (such as manga titles, URLs, and reading progress). By using the Service, you grant MangaFlow a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

MangaFlow does not claim ownership of the manga titles, URLs, or any other content you save in your library. These remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service allows you to save links to third-party manga provider websites. MangaFlow has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

MangaFlow is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any manga publisher, scanlation group, or content hosting platform.

9. Intellectual Property

The MangaFlow brand, logo, website design, software, algorithms (including the chapter-detection engine and metadata enrichment system), and all related intellectual property are owned by MangaFlow and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without prior written permission.

10. Service Availability and Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. MangaFlow makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
  • The accuracy of automated chapter detection (third-party websites may block or change their structure at any time)
  • The availability or accuracy of metadata sourced from public APIs
  • The availability or content of any third-party manga provider website

MangaFlow may perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, which may temporarily affect Service availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MangaFlow and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, reading progress, or library content
  • Inaccurate chapter detection or false notifications
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Actions taken by third-party websites or services
  • Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials

In no event shall MangaFlow’s total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid to MangaFlow in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MangaFlow and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Account Termination

MangaFlow reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior (including refund abuse)
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Requests from law enforcement or government agencies

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@mangaflow.io. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

MangaFlow reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page
  • Notify registered users via email at the address associated with their account

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. Mandatory Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

15.1 Pre-Arbitration Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute, arbitration, or legal proceeding, you and MangaFlow agree to attempt to resolve any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service informally for at least thirty (30) days. Notice of a dispute must be submitted in writing to support@mangaflow.io containing a detailed description of the dispute and desired relief.

15.2 Binding Arbitration Agreement

If informal dispute resolution is unsuccessful within thirty (30) days, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Service shall be settled exclusively by final and binding individual arbitration administered under the commercial arbitration rules of the relevant arbitration provider or tribunal, in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica without regard to choice of law principles.

15.3 Waiver of Class Actions and Jury Trial

CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND MANGAFLOW AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE AS A CLASS REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST MANGAFLOW.

15.4 Arbitration Opt-Out Right

You have the right to opt out of the provisions of this Section 15 by sending written notice of your decision to opt out to support@mangaflow.io within thirty (30) days of first creating your MangaFlow account. Your opt-out notice must include your full name, username, account email address, and a clear statement stating that you wish to opt out of mandatory binding arbitration.

16. DMCA & Copyright Infringement Policy (17 U.S.C. § 512)

MangaFlow respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) (“DMCA”), MangaFlow has adopted a policy to maintain Safe Harbor protection for online service providers and information location tools.

16.1 Safe Harbor Status & Information Location Tools

MangaFlow acts strictly as an Information Location Tool (17 U.S.C. § 512(d)) and intermediary service provider (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)). MangaFlow does not host, store, stream, or re-transmit copyrighted manga images or files. If you believe that content accessible via third-party links indexed by our users infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Agent.

16.3 Repeat Offender Policy

In accordance with Section 512(i)(1)(A) of the DMCA, MangaFlow maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and DMCA Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MangaFlow regarding the use of the Service.
